We’ve got a protective screen but we’re struggling to talk to customers, what should we use?
What you need is a speech transfer system, also known as a contactless intercom. The Contacta STS-K070 is an entry level contactless speech transfer system. It allows for face to face communications through a safety screen or partition. This means that it’s great for care homes, hospitals and surgeries, reception counters, banks and retail stores. If you have a situation where clear two way conversations are obstructed by a Perspex or glass screen, then the STS-K070 is the ideal solution.
The system comes with two speaker pods which can be surface mounted or left free standing. There are also two separate mouse microphones. You can choose to fix them in place with a screw or a sticky pad as both are included. Because there are no buttons to push this means that the STS-K070 is a fully contactless speech system once installed. It is an affordable solution for use in environments with low ambient noise.

Are there any other intercoms similar to this one?
