The Audac CAP424 is a Quad-Channel Power Amplifier, boasting an output power of 240W across four channels, and designed for use in any 100V PA System. With integrated Class-D technology, in combination with switching power supplies, the CAP424 provides marked efficiency and reliability. More importantly, the quad-channel capability of CAP4xx series amplifiers allows you to create a flexible solution for multi-zone Audio Distribution Systems, across four independent zones.

Audac’s CAP range has been expertly designed as no-nonsense Power Amplifiers, including only the necessary controls and connections, ensuring simplicity in use and installation. Every output channel contains different power taps to be used in 100V, 70V and even 4Ω low impedance applications, with input signal connections performed using balanced XLR connectors, allowing link-through to other amplifiers by way of link output connectors.

Besides all the desired connection possibilities, the CAP424 also offers a gain control potentiometer and a high-pass filter switch (400Hz) on the back of the unit. A built-in multipurpose protection circuit protects against DC Malfunction, Short Circuit, Overheating, Overload, and limits the signal when necessary. This is all housed into a solidly constructed 2 HE double rack space/19” rack mounting housing.
