Cloud CS-C5 Shallow Fire Hood Cover:

Yes, we have a fire hood for the Cloud CS-C5 ceiling speaker. Forming part of Cloud Electronics CS-C range of ceiling speakers, the CS-C5 is slightly shallower than CS-C6 and CS-C8. The CS-C5 has a 5″ driver but the hole cut out is the same as the 6″ and 8″ speakers.

As with all the range, the CS-C5 does have a back can but it’s not fire certified. This aftermarket hood will add that fire barrier protection to your installations. Helping you comply with current UK and EU building regulations. The fire hood will provide up to 90 minutes of protection, compliant with parts B, L, C and E.

The fire hood has a diameter of 340mm, and an approximate depth of 100mm, making it perfect for both the:

• CS-C5W White Loudspeaker
• CS-C5B Black Loudspeaker

More Than Just A Fire Hood?

Most flush speakers will have some audio spill out of the back and the CS-C5 is no different. The back can does help reduce this leakage, and these fire hoods help deaden the sound even further. For total absorption you need to use acoustic treatment but these fire hoods will help.
