The TOA EM-362-EB is a superb Neck-Worn (Imam) Microphone, particularly suited for use in religious venues – namely mosques. It is also a practical solution for hands-free and hassle-free communication. Designed as a reliable alternative to head-worn or clip-on microphones, the EM-362 requires a mere 3-6 cm distance from the mouth to capture clear and crisp voice transmission.
Tailored to enhance audio performance in a mosque, especially during prayers led by an Imam, the EM-362-EB boasts a unique design that suspends the microphone in front of the speaker’s mouth. This strategic positioning ensures optimal speech pick-up while preventing any interference from body movements during prayer and eliminating unnecessary background noise. The flexible shaft makes microphone adjustments a breeze, catering to various user preferences.
With high sensitivity and a wide-range frequency response, the EM-362-EB guarantees clear sound transmission whether the user is standing or in a praying position. The microphone provides flexibility in power options, allowing it to operate with either 2 x “AAA” batteries or phantom power. A blue LED indicator lights up when microphone is ON and with the convenient ON/OFF switch the user can control the microphone as needed. Featuring a 7m cable and cardioid polar pattern, the EM-362-EB ensures complete noise cancellation from the rear.
