These fire hoods allow you to maintain ceiling integrity once ceiling speakers have been installed. They will bring all of your installations into conformity with the IEE and building Regulations for Fire and Acoustic integrity of ceilings.

HOODY® can stop a significant amount of sound leakage from the speakers to the rooms above its placement, making ceiling speaker installation below any room very achievable.

Fire hoods are appropriate for both commercial and domestic installations and will be necessary in some domestic buildings such as three storey houses where they must be installed on the ground and first floors to comply with the current regulations.
